Houses
Building of a house is an important decision, because our dreams and ideas turn into fixed architectural formwork. Since we want to choose the best for our house, there is no wonder why a lot of customers prefer more profitable wooden houses made of glued squared timber to constructions from brick, concrete or foam-silicate. Nowadays wood is the most natural building material among the existing ones. Since 2003 we have built a great number of wooden houses made of glued squared timber following the individual demands of our clients for aesthetics, comfort and purposefulness of a house. More than once we have proved how easy and fast construction can be, provided the building technology is properly kept. The production process has been tested for many times and it meets quality standards. Our aim is not just house construction but creation of zestful houses, the houses which can reflect the personality of an individual customer. We are trying to embody your ideas without imposing our own views and to give our customers an opportunity of self-expression. What advantages do the houses made of glued squared timber by "Variant Ltd" possess?
Glued squared timber consists of a number of glued wooden lamellas. And it is a real construction since one must stick to strict parameters when it is being produced. This makes glued squared timber different from any other wooden building material. Such a house does not shrink. Glued Squared timber does not crack, does not change its form; it is firm and possesses a greater resistance to heat transfer than whole squared timber. Since glued squared timber can be of any size it can be used for building of the biggest house, frame of roof included. With the help of such a building material a house can be built with the shortest possible delay since the house can be built as a construction set. What materials and technology we use
After conditioning during 2-3 days edge-surfaced lumber is treated on the quadrilateral dunters. The quality of the end product is proved by the absence of wood flaws. Cracks, falling knots, core and other imperfections, which have a bad influence on the solidity and the outside appearance of the product, are cut out. The obtained work pieces are joined in length on the minicoak. During joint-making special attention is paid to that fact that adjacent areas should match in colour and pattern of the wood. Before being glued into the squared timber, lamellas are sorted again so that one piece of squared timber should have lamellas with mutually complementary location of the annual rings. It helps to compensate the tension which arises in the adjacent lamellas and to guarantee that the glued squared timber will not break in the glue line and will not warp and crack even under the unforeseen influence of water, for instance, because of breach of a steam-heat pipe. After joint-making the work pieces are planed and then they undergo volume gluing where pasting automatic device "SC 2R 300" and presses "Mita" are used. For gluing we use waterproof ecological polyurethane glue "PUR-501" and "PUR-510" (for joists). Among all the advantages of this group of glues one can note their high heat-insulating quality, which in their turn affect the total thermal conductance of the whole construction. Consequently we obtain building glued squared timber which is
Such a checked technology of house construction opens up ample possibilities at the design stage making it possible to combine innovation and ecological compatibility of housing. The factory production ensures compact jointing of the details without additional fitting-up during assembling. Windows and doors are also made of wood (or in the combination of wood and aluminum) in a great assortment in form and colour. The windows have double-glass unit energy-efficient glass and massive frame of 86 mm thickness, which makes them twice as warm as usual ones and gives dwellers a possibility to save on the average about 40% on the heating. ![]() |
